Gorgeous 24ha (59acre) farm with two private beaches and 3 Cabins on the Nicoya Peninsula
Price: 840,000 USD
On the southern tip of the gulf of Nicoya near the sleepy fishing village of Lepanto lies this beautiful piece of land bordering the open waters of the gulf. The property size is 24ha in total from which 12ha are titled and 12ha are in the maritime zone. The only road to the idyllic beaches and the incredible views of the ocean and the Islands of Caballo and Bejuco are through this property, so these beaches are as private as they can get in Costa Rica.
The first impression when you enter the farm is great. A big number of ‘Laureles de la India’ form a beautiful alley taking you through fields and Mango plantations to the meticulously kept internal road which goes around the property forming a circle. There are several hiking trails going through forests, mangroves and to isolated, private beaches.
Following the internal road, we find three different set of cabins at three different locations each one with great views and cozy set ups.
The biggest cabin has 3 bedrooms and a big living/dining area with a kitchen. There are two bathrooms and three showers since one is a beautiful outside shower overlooking the surrounding vegetation.
The second cabin consists out of one Bedroom and one bathroom. It is a simple cabin perfect for one or two people.
The third cabin is located in the meditation area. It is a big space overlooking the sea and a perfect spot to observe the sunrise. This cabin also is set up in a camping style with a bedroom and bathroom.
Both small cabins have their cooking facilities. Public electricity is available as well as two deep wells with pure water. The public water grid is not far and could be connected if desired.
There are 5 platforms that serve as viewpoints decorated with little ranchos and sitting facilities. A place where the only thing in the air is quiet and peace mixed with incredible views over the Gulf of Nicoya.
The farm also has 2.5ha of around 300 planted Mango trees which give a significant yield as well as other fruit trees scattered around. Approximately 1ha of land is enclosed pastureland ideal for keeping farm animals. Around 2ha are planted with different types of exotic tropical trees common and uncommon to the area.
With the set up that is already there, this place could be turned into a beautiful yoga/nature/meditation type Hotel with little effort. Boat tours to the different Islands and animal watching could be offered due to the perfect maritime location.
The Liberia international Airport is just 2 hours drive away as well as merely 5 minutes’ drive to the Naranjo Ferry which makes the journey to San Jose a matter of just a couple of hours.
